DUCK BREAST WITH ORANGE

INGREDIENTS

Duck breast VG 

• 1 tablespoon butter

• 1 tablespoon wheat flour

• 1 cup orange juice

• 1/4 cup white wine

• 1 teaspoon dijon mustard

• Thyme

• Salt and pepper to taste


PREPARATION METHOD

Fry the duck breasts with the fat side down in a pan of hot oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Once the skin is golden, turn the duck breast over and fry the other side.

In another pan, add the butter and, as soon as it melts, add the wheat flour and stir well. Then add the orange juice and continue stirring. When the mixture is smooth, add a pinch of salt, the thyme, mustard and white wine. Mix until it reaches the right consistency. 

Finally, serve the sliced duck breast on top of the orange sauce.
